Im buying a wireless router and am going to hook up my ps3.?

Is there some kinda of special wireless router? Or will any wireless router work?

I have a wired modem but any wireless modem should work. They all give off the same WiFi signals and stuff so it should be fine to use any, but dont get some crappy one that looks like it was crappily made, get yourself a decent one that will last just as long as your PS3 and thensome which is a good 4-5 years normally.

I would make sure that it is SECURED.

In my area there is a ps3 that has OPEN wifi settings allowing ANYONE into its network.
