  1. Ikea is cheap... but, there isn't very many locations in the U.S, so depending on where you live you might have to order online on the Ikea website.

  2. IKEA!!!

    CHEAP ...AND VERY NICE.

  3. roomstore is really good. we got a really comfortable, fashionable couch for 300 bucks.

  4. Furniture that is inexpensive is cheaply made...

If you want good furniture at a decent price look for quality made used furniture...

Estate sales are your best bet....

  5. ikea isn't really expensive but its nice.

  6. the first tip I would give you is to buy what you love.  And, keep in mind that you taste will change in five years from now.

So, let your budget be your guide.

Figure out WHAT you need to buy.  (make a list)  Then, decide how much you are willing to spend.  Then write both of these down in a notepad that you keep with you at all times when shopping.  Then, don't worry so much about where you are buying as what you are buying.  You will find some amazing pieces in some discount stores and you will also find some amazing deals in some "expensive" stores.  Bottom line is that furniture is only furniture.  Your taste will change and so will your furniture.

If you buy the best that you can afford and make sure that you really love it (you will be sure of this by going back and revisting the store a week - or month - later - if you still love it and can afford it, go for it) then  you will be fine.

Set a firm budget then have fun!

  7. Try looking on Craigslist. You can find some great buys.

  8. Pier 1 has some cute furniture.

  9. ikea.. not the best but better than target.  don't  know if ikea is in your area.  you'll need to go to show room .   target furniture not all the durable, better for a dorm or college apartment.

spend the most that you can, higher priced furniture is really a better value.   if money is problem you don't have much choice at this time

  10. shop at ikea they have good show rooms and very cheap

  11. a correction: used stuff has proven itself to be sturdy, so don't rule it out.  look at craigslist and thrift shops for at least some of your items.  if you're in the northeast try bob's discount furniture.  check out ikea if there is one near you, but be selective, only some of their stuff is worthwhile.

  12. target is kinda on the expensive side of cheap. I would check IKEA. I have alot of their furniture, and it's held up for several years.

  13. online or from a cute store that u can find unused things

    even online

  14. Ikea, Art Van Clearance Center... check your Sunday paper for ads on furnature stores that are running sales and specials

  15. ikea

they have lots of inexpensive stuff

    your turn
