  1. Outfielder to outfielder...use your legs and follow through. As some people have described here you need to hop and then throw. (Assuming your right handed) You catch the ball, you take a quick step with your left foot and then launch yourself towards your target with your right foot (that is how a pitcher gets more speed on a pitch). Half way through your giant step towards your target you start bringing your arm through. You want it up high not sidearm...snap your wrist at the top and release. But don't stop your arm...it should come all the way down to your knee before you stop it. Also, you need to release at a high point to get more distance for longer throws. You can easily work on this motion in the garage or outside without throwing a actual ball.

    Good luck

  2. throw your body into it and crow hop will always help, GOOD LUCK hope this helps!

  3. Put your body into your throw.

If it's a fly ball try to be moving forward as you catch it.  Then do a "crow hop" to set your feet and follow through to where you want to throw it.  (If you don't know what a crow hop is then go here: http://www.qcbaseball.com/skills/outfiel...

For grounders, get behind the ball and have your momentum going forward when fielding the ball so your body and arm will work together on the throw.  And most importantly: Follow Through.

  4. I am an infielder...but i had a problem with throwing too so I will tell you what my coach told me: throwing is in the writst. you want to snap the ball..you do NOT want to push the ball. you must snap your wrist and have a good grip on the ball.
