Im concerned about the north sea been the roughtest sea in the world?

hi im doing a norwegian fyords cruise in july but im concerned of monster waves and rough seas in the north sea it really makes me panic anyone knows if in july been summer the north sea is calm and do i stand more chances geting run over by a car as i leave my house rather than the ship sinking due to rough seas thanks

I used to work on a ship for Royal Caribbean.  When we did our Europe cruises we cruised the North Sea from London to Oslo, Norway.  And yes, it can be very rough.  Some cruises were smooth as glass...but other cruises it was pretty rough.  This was July-September.

You stand more of a chance being abducted by aliens on the way to the port, than the ship sinking though.
