I have soundblaster live and it has 3 holes for sound to come out. front and back and i guess bass, Now can a computer that has say only one hole for sound to come out plug into a great stereo and have 5.1 and surround etc? Or does the sound coming out of the computer need to be "divided" one hole for front speakers , one hole for back... Also recommend a web site for audio begineers???? thanks

  1. Ok each one of those holes can send out TWO audio signals. 5.1 channel surround sound cards have a output for front left/right, another output for rear left/right and one last output for the center channel/subwoofer. Logitech's 5.1 channels systems are really good.

    here is the link.

theese are all 5.1 channel speaker systems that will work with your sound card.
