  1. I don't know what you mean by advantage set - to win a set it's the same as a game; you have to win by at least two. So 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, and 6-4 wins the set, or 7-5. The tiebreak is played when it's 6-6. The first one to seven points wins, and again, you have to win by at least two points.

  2. you are right about the score.  when you play a tiebreak game, the server serves once on the duece court. then the next one serves on the ad side twice. you keep going like this until someone has 7 points.. you have to win by two just like in normal games but you keep score 1-7   good luck!

  3. Go to wikipedia and type in Tennis.

  4. 1. score is kept in games and sets. first player to reach 6 games won wins the set. however, if the score is 5-5 then it has to be a difference of 2 and goes unto 7. in a game theres 15-0, 30-0 40-0 then its a game. 40/40 means deuce. whoever wins the point at deuce has 'advantage' if he wins the next point then its a game.

    2. theres no such thing as an advantage set. maybe set advantage would mean like in a grand slam, if a player has won 2 sets and the other player 1. a tie break is played when the score in the set is 6-6. player 1 serves once. then player 2 serves twice then player 1 once and so on until a person reaches 7. if its 6-6 then difference of 2. if 7-7 then difference of two and so on.

i tried writing it as simple and as understandable as possible.

  5. I agree with Vanessa go to Wikipedia.org

  6. There are heaps of answers for question 1 so i'll just answer question 2.

A tie-break is played at 5-5 or 6-6 depending on the tournament. They are played to 7 points and you have to win by 2 points. The first person serves 1 point and from then on each player has 2 serves each.

Also... an advantage set is where you don't play a tiebreaker at all. You just keep on going until someone gets 2 games ahead. But don't bother about that because they are usually played at pro level and only in the 5th set.

  7. the only thing wrong with the score is that love is zero not no score.  good luck at tryouts! :-)
