  1. i haven't attented ARC, but when i was thinking of going to college to become a nurse, ARC was highly recommended to me by ppl attending there. my mother in law also graduated there. i love living in this area (i am currently in Orangevale, which is closer to Folsom). i moved from the Bay Area, and i would never go back.

as far as the weather goes, well let me tell you, it's been HOT here lately. as a matter of fact, temperatures reached 103 yesterday! that's the only part i don't like about living this way, the heat can get unbearable. but i stay because i love the area and my children get a great education here.

  2. I used to live in the bay area 2 yrs ago and moved to a city 30 min from Sac, CITRUS heights,  and all I can say is that it is good here, there are alot of places to go and visit. Its better then where I used to live.

The area is pretty nice- there are many parks- and its very GREEN here !

but at times the weater gets a bit too HOT in the summer! Like today its like 100'f.

  3. I got my AA at ARC, go Beavers.  It was a good experience.  The weather is referred to Mediterranean.  The summers are dry and warm.  It can get a high as 100, but the delta breeze often comes at night to cool things down.  Fall and Spring are wonderful.  It can get foggy in the winter, but not too cold.

  4. i hate sac, but for personal reasons. aside from that, it's great here. nice environment, weather, community.

i've never attened ARC, but my brother had. he went there for 2 years and then transferred to CSUS. i guess he didn't find it challenging enough. but if ur looking to go to a community college i suggest ARC

  5. I currently attend ARC and have lived here in Citrus Heights since 1994. The weather is variable but not much. It can get as low as 38... and as high as 114 (That happened several years ago) BUT just as it's variable, it's also not very normal for either temps. Summers are in the 90s. winters as low as the 50s. Either way I love Sacramento despite it's traffic issues. But you're going to find that in any bigger city anywhere.
