n the mid: lampard (chelsea) instead of Reo

schwaarzer wil let way to many goals in and lose you points so take him out belletti is not in the starting line upv take him out and brown is not a regular starting player.also van persi always gets injured.

Just make sure that you know every player is going to start every match.

Is mascherano going to start every game for the first few games? Last season I had problems with Liverpool always changing the starting 11 and I was losing massive points because people like Hypia were not playing.

Man Utd and Fulham are having a game less at the start of the season, the date is being re-arranged so I have made sure not to put any Man Utd players in for August due to this because I want as many games as I can out of my players. So in August you are already losing 3players for one week.

What I have done is look at the fixtures and using a spreadsheet to create a list of every game, this allows me to type up what I predict the result to be then I can see who will be where.

For e.g. I have predicted that Portsmouth will be near the bottom of the league after August. So I have not put any Portsmouth players in, however after September I think they will start to perform a little better. After 6games I only have 6points for them.

Of course doing this might not work, but as you start to put in the real results you can predict by the form of the teams.

I think you have picked the right teams for the start of the season, although I wouldn't pick Fulham and Man Utd players for August.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa are good teams to pick your midfield and strikers from. Just make sure you pick players who are starting, and try to stay away from the most popular players.

Its hard to do, but if your picking the same players as everybody else, then you will never gain points on somebody.

Normally picking a cheap "outsider" can help you, but this is a gamble.

Schwarzer is not a good choice in goal, I can see you are looking for a cheap goalkeeper and I agree that Schwarzer is the best cheapest goelkeeper but Fulham leak too many goals, even with a good 'keeper in Niemi last year I'd say they didn't even keep 3 clean sheets. If you just go half a million dearer you will find better 'keepers like jaaskelainen for bolton. He has been confirmed as being bolton's No.1 next season and Bolton have an easy start to the season, also, they are quite a defensive team who love to win 1-0. You could keep Schwarzer as your second 'keeper.

In defence, brown and belletti are unlikely to play with gary neville (captain) and either bosingwa or ferraira (both portuguese and loved by scolari) likely to take their places in the manu and chelsea sides respectively. You might consider slightly more expensive (but woth it) players like evra and bosingwa to replave those two (I'd say scolari will choose bosingwa to replace belletti as bosingwa was preferred to ferraira at right back for scolari's portugal at euro 2008).

Clichy is a very good choice in defence with plenty of goals and assists.

Your midfield lacks quality, apart from fabregas and deco, you have no goalscorers with mascherano and reo-coker both rare goalscorers and rarely contributing assists either. You need at least 3 good midfielders, you might consider steve sidwell of villa instead of mascherano, he will be looking to fill gareth barry's scoring void at villa and will have plenty of licence to burst forward. You might also consider replacing hamann as he will not play. I'd suggest someone like Dean Marney of hull, he is amongst the cheapest of midfielders and chipped in with 8 goals for hull last season.

To finance these team improvements you may need to break up your top-class forward line. I'd suggest keeping van persie as i think he will have a great season after a great euro 2008, van persie seems a bargain buy. Torres might not play all liverpools games this season, benitez tends to often go for 1 man up front and I fear that keane and torres could find themselves taking it in turns to play up front (especially in away games) rather than being in a partnership in a 4-4-2 formation. Iwould tend to get rid of torres and keep tevez, who will be the main focal point of manu's attack now with rooney missing the start of the season, even if berbatov arrives, he will partner tevez at manu, he will not replace him.

If you're looking for a good replacement striker, look at people like Yakubu and Dean ashton who are both capable of 15-20 goals a season, or if you're looking for a cheap bargain, look at people like luke moore of west brom or dave kitson of stoke, both these players moved to these clubs for relatively big money and will be the main men in attack for their respective clubs.

These are just my suggestions, use them if you like, but they are not golden rules, this is football, and anything could and will happen.

Schwarzer will let in to many goals, Belleti doesn't start regularly, Deco has no experience in the premier league so he might not be that good this season, Other than that it looks a good side. I'm sorry i can't say who to replace by because i only follow 1 team properly. Birmingham City. COME ON YOU BLUES. seeya next season everyone except who gets relegated. ( aston villa please go down)
