Im doing a pcr and after this step, it states to add a nanogram of the mega primer?

how would i get 250 ng of megaprimer into microliters, because the megaprimer is going to be liquid?

you have to convert it,

Use this equation:

mass1 x volume1 = mass2 x volume2

mass1 is the mass you have

volume 1 is the volume you have

mass2 is the mass you want (250ng)

volume 2 is the volume you want (the volume of the liquid)

to get the amount of liquid you need re-arrange the equation:

(mass1 x volume1) / mass2 =  x volume2

add in the known values (you havent given me your starting mass and volume so i dont know them)

(mass1 x volume1) /250ng =  x volume2

Be careful to make sure the units are correct, ie all in nanograms and microlitres for the volumes.
