  1. I would suggest using ASHA as a great resource for this topic.  ASHA is the American Speech Language Hearing Association, anyone who is licensed as an SLP-CCC (Speech Language Pathologist  who is certified -has gotten a masters and passed the test-they specialize in Speech and language ) ASHA also has members who are audiologist (they specialize in hearing).  ASHA would probably be one of the best places to look, they do yearly conferences on a variety of topics and the members are all licensed and credible.  I put a link below to the ASHA hearing disorders page.  I am sure that the information there will be greatly helpful.  You could probably find someone on the website that might do an interview for you if you needed that.  Good luck!  That is a great topic!! :)

  2. I know that you've searched the Internet but I found that a Yahoo Search:  effects hearing loss speech

    got lots of information.

    Good luck.

  3. Yes. Look her up at :

    www.eisencoop.org

She is the one in charge of the deaf and hard of hearing program.

  4. Helen Keller was blind and deaf....you could look for a way to hear a tape of her talking.

  5. You could interview me because im deaf and my family are deaf. We use sign language for communication and i attended Deaf school in california. I knew all about deaf culture so if you are still need report on deafness then please feel free to talk to me. I dont mind if you interview me.
