  1. Don't diet. Your weight is fine. In any case, a runners weight usually stabilizes at the right weight for that runner.  Training  tears the body down.  You need calories to rebuild the muscles.  If you train but diet you tear the body down but then don't provide the building blocks for recovery. Your body will self metabolize to get the calories.  This can lead to  injury.

If you are an active 14 year and participate in sports, you need anywhere from 2000 to 2500 calories per day. At your age you are still growing.

  2. Im a senior this year and Ive ran cross-country for 6 years. Do not put yourself on a strict diet! Just eat healthy. Make sure you fit all of the right food groups in your diet. Also drink plenty of water. Just give it all youve got at practices and Im sure you"ll see a difference. Good luck and Stay with it! Running is the way to go!

  3. Lower on fats try to take in as little carbs as possible but in the morning of any event days.

  4. i think you should eat fruits for beakfast

    salad for lunch

and for dinner, you can eat fish (i know barf for me) or maybey another salad.

i know a lot of salad. right?

but still it's really gooood for you and is a great food to eat on a diet

  5. You run enough that you should be able to lose the weight without dieting, but just make sure you get your 5+ serving of fruits/vegetables, eat lots of lean protein, and plenty of complex carbs then your weight should be good as well as your muscles and energy levels.

  6. Carbohydrates. You will need the engery. Drink plenty of water. Monitor you sugar, fat and sodium intake. Eat almost as you normally would because your body will be burning calories like crazy. You need protein and nutrition. No "diet" foods. Diet soda is the worst. Nothing zero calories.

  7. none, your fine!
