  1. A cliche is a saying, or an overused phrase.

  6. A cliche is a phrase that people use all the time.

So if you want to make a sentence out of it, think of a phrase (like..."they don't make 'em like they used to", for example) and then say it's a cliche.

    like this:

"My dad likes to use the cliche 'they don't make 'em like they used to', and it's driving me crazy"

  7. I could hear the cliche after-school banter coming from the emo kids standing in the corner, wearing the obligatory black uniform and peeking out through their straightened, side-swept dreads : "My life is a black abyss," and "Nobody loves me."

  8. This web site has a game that teaches vocabulary: http://www.FreeRice.com

  9. I don't want to do your homework for you but:

Cliche is basically an obvious remark.  An example would be:

Guy 1: (After mom asks how was school) Whatever.

    Mom:  That is so cliche.

Hope it helps without me doing your homework for you.
