Im doing the 10k Edinburgh run on Sunday........?

my friend wants me to go running tonight in preparation by doing a 7k run, is it wise ot do this so close to the race? Or should i just do 15 minutes today and 20 tomorrow?

  1. Really you should have been preparing for this for some time. Now I would run the distance a week before. You need to give your body time to recover though but if you aren't used to running distances you need some kind of preperation. I say run 7km as soon as you can today and then just relax building upto the race. Eat a sensible breakfast on the day....some juice and maybe porridge with dry frut with toast. If you are of around average fitness I should expect you to complete this race. However if you run again especially longer distances you really should prepare dude!
