Im due for an upgrade for my verizon phone. does that mean that i will get a discount. ?

the upgrade is tomorrow and i would like to know how much the env2 would be with my upgrade. and is it a better thing to do it in store or online?

Verizon will never give you anything for free. You'll have to sign an 2 year contract to get a phone at a discounted rate.

They want you to think you got an upgrade but in essence you get nothing for your money and are roped into anouther two year contract.

Check into your upgrade and what the phone will cost you after the rebate,now go find that same phone on Ebay and check the price on it.

Make sure it is a phone that is Verizon compatable.

I've been due an upgrade but after seeing the price i have to pay after the rebate , i find it's cheaper to buy your cell phones on Ebay.

For example i just bought a new Blackberry for $69.99 from ebay allso 3 outher phones for family members. This helps put pressure on all the phone companies to realy make you a good offer to get you under a contract again.

I am with AT&T but i no longer have to stay with them so any phone company that gives me an offer to good to refuse is the one i will go to```example an iPhone for a $100.00

an upgrade is basically like trading in your phone for a newer "upgraded" one so theres no charge i dont think

and its faster and easier to do it in the store

it realy depends on your plan. if you have a family share plan and you are the secondary line... the secondary lines do not get discounts- only the primary does...

if you are the primary line or just have a single line plan- depending on your plan you can recieve a discount onf $50.00 or $100.00.

the env2 has a 2 year contract price of 129.99, if you have the $100.00 discount, that brings your phones price down to 29.99, then with the instant rebate of 50.00 for that phone, the enV2 will be a discounted to $0.00. there may be tax ontop of the $0.00 amount though.

All of this can be done through customer service (611). We can give you the $50 or $100 discount AND we can honor the online price that you see (which is the instant rebate), -- something the stores cannot do. ofcourse it will take 2-3 business days to ship to you.. but its worth it.

Sometimes when your line is ready for an upgrade, the online system sometimes does not recognize that your phone is eligible and the discount amount will sometimes not process through that is why it is safer just to call in and order is from Customer Service :) good luck and enjoy the new phone!

I have an env and love it.  yes you do get a discount and depending on your plan between 50 and 100 dollars.  I think I got mine after the rebate for $79.99.  I always do my ordering online cause you get better deals than in the store and the rebate and discounts are always instant rather than in the store.  Also they usually ship your phone overnight or 2 day delivery by Fed Ex free of charge.  Hope this helps!
