  1. i would start working out and practicing a lot. find an open gym to go to and practice for an hour or so. practice at home or at a park with a friend. start getting use to the game again. go to camps and clinics to help you get your golden touch back. just lots and lots of practice. and taining is good to. work on toning your muscles and it will really help a lot. run, lift weights, etc. hope this helps.

  2. ok you have to practice alot!!!!And remember how you used to sreve and all of it and maybe that could help you.And by playing volleyball im sure you will lose some weigth.GOOD LUCK!!!!BYE!!!

  3. everyone wants to be good just practice more and try your hardest and youll get better over time good luck

  4. As a junior and ready to become a great **volleyball player**...

1> You need a professional trainer to help you design **your** workout. My company offered "one-on-one" training, but the one I talked to was not trained to help those who wants to be "great" (but those who is already not so healthy)... stay away from those. Try a GOLD's gym, Spectrum, or 24hr Sports, and find a good trainer (if you are so serious).

2> You need a nutritionist to help you plan on how to eat. I got one about three years ago, and I've learned a lot although my family doctor thinks I have been a "healthy man". My guy "forced" me to put down all details everyday, and checked my blood sample every month (so I don't have any chance lying about what I ate).

3> Go to local open gyms, and sign up with a good club so that you can play more real games, with a good coach helping you get to the next level. You need to fill your schedule with volleyball activities, besides keeping yourself a straight-A student at school.

4> Develop leadership skills while polishing your volleyball fundamentals.

  5. pratice volleyball everyday for 2 hours

    exercise for an hour

    run for a half hour

  6. If you're like me, you know that the secret to 'getting back' into volleyball magic is to increase your vertical jump. That's where the power of the serve is.

    Vertical Jump - and Dig.

You also need to strengthen your leg muscles - specially the leg joints, calves and ankles -- followed by the upper body and arms. Volleyball is an all-body sport and nothing like a good workout for the whole body to get into the spirit.

  7. you are like me everyday i have a practice at 6 am but i still loving volley

  8. A lot of great answers here, but also remember to set your own personal goals. Test yourself. Make your own records and beat 'em. Beat your own speeds. Mark your jumping hight and beat that as well.

But most import... you probably hear this a lot...  You got to have fun with it. It's by far the best way to excel!
