  1. absolutely!

  2. Get the vaccinations that your doctor recommends.  They can tell you what is highly recommended, and what is nice to do, but not completely necessary.

I highly recommend having your doctor prescribe you with a very general antibiotic (such as ezithromiacin or zithromax).  This is beneficial to have with you in case you get sick while travelling.  It's just a precaution, but nice to have.  I took several rounds of it with me on my year long trip, and it was extremely useful, usually for traveller's diahrea.

The more prepared you are in advance, the less you'll have to worry about these things day-to-day while you are travelling.

    Have a great trip!!!

  3. Of course ! if you really want to protect yourself from diseases and malarias which are high rate in tropical/3rd world countries. Hey, which country in Europe R U from. if it's not that personal ?

  4. Yes, and esecially get the hepatitis vacination. I was on holiday with some Australian med students doing internship in Hanoi. Hey say that Hep cases are incredibly high there.
