  1. 50 is not that old, but you should be fine with at least 25,000 US dollar or more.

  2. You can live conservatively in the province area on about 1200-1500 dollars a month.  Of course a Filipino could get by on half that.  But, as white people/foreigners we always pay more for everything.  If you live in the city figure double that amount.

  3. G Day Mate!

As a Forender You can live on 2000 $ Au a month.I live in the Province Marinduque Island on 60000 Pesos a Month incl Van, Full Time Caretaker and Aircon House ect. Some of my Guests live on a lot less.Check out our website.www.clubcagpo.tk

    Regards Harry Auer

  4. Pretty much the same amount as American. Current exchange rate is USD 1: 0.9303 Australian.

  5. Well, you can just come here with your dollars and invest here so you won't run out of cash.  You can lease a parcel of land and make a barn for the chickens and pigs,

    GOD BLESS!

  6. That will depend what life style you want, and depend to the location in the Philippines you want to retire. We have lots of Australian friend in Southern Leyte,  they live in simple life and just have a monthly pension,  ( I don't know how much they received in Australian dollars ). They own house. Some Americans have pension of $1200, they are consider to be well off, have car and beautiful houses. But since you are only 50 probably you are not yet retired, then you should just budget it how much you want to spend monthly.

  7. At least 60,000 Australian dollars in cash or in savings.

At least 20,000 AUD in trust bonds, stocks or time deposit whatever just to have some cash flow.

A fully furnished house with everything in there, with swimming pool (Try Tagaytay as the location of your house, it's the best place)

(You must own the lot and the house)

    A car (optional)

Medical Insurance that will shoulder bills just in case you got sick.

    Live happily ever after.

    God bless you!

  8. Bring as much as you have coz you can't take chances here in our country to have your income as old you as u said, here in our country we have much Filipinos secret millioner, the poor Filipinos you have seen always on TV and in Metro Manila remote areas but the truth Filipinos are rich and millioners

  9. do you intend to stay there for good? you need to save at least 100,000 AUD.that's just for the house, a small that is. the rest, you need to save more.
