Im filling out the I-130. if i put my employer. does the INS contact them? I really don't want to loose my job

I-130 is for petitioning relatives - so I presume you're a US citizen.  Why would you worry about your employer being contacted by the USCIS - that is if they do?  The most critical thing you have to prove -  in my opinion, is that the petitionee would not be an economic burden for the US and that you are able to support him/her while in the US.  

    Therefore I don't see why you could possibly lose your job over an I-130 application, unless as Fred stated you lied on the application about your finances, employment, etc.

  3. You have a choice here.

    You can honestly fill out the I-130 and answer every question truthfully and not put yourself in danger of being accused of trying to obtain an immigration benefit by fraud, or you can falsify the I-130 and spend the next couple years wondering if you'll be prosecuted for 18 USC 1001, false statements or writings.

    It seems like an easy choice.
