to be granted a tourist visa, you need to show proof that you have no intention of migrating to the US.

The visa u should apply for is B1. U need to convince the consoler at the embassy that you are returning back home. So if you work get him a certificate proves that, if u r a university student do the same. If u got other visas on ur passport that will increase your chances. In other words get all the documentation that proves that you are gonna return back after your trip. And try to get an invitation letter from USA showing a fixed address and willing to sponsor ur expanses while ur staying there.
