Im from the U.S.A im an american citizen. What do i Need to go to El salvador?

Just a passport or do I need a visa. Or do I need something else. How long can I stay there and what will I need if I want to live there forever?

If you plan to stay less than 90 days all you need is a passport with at least 6 months validity

To visit El Salvador short term, all you need is a valid US passport.  A visa will be issued to you upon arrival in El Salvador for a small fee (around $10).
