Will i need to prove that i am just visiting friends? I am going for 78 days and have a return flight booked. Im worried they won't let me in. Has anyone ever been to canada for a couple of months as a visitor? What happened at the airport?

  1. you shouldn't have any trouble at all, a UK resident can visit Canada as a tourist for 6 months without any problems

  2. Your return ticket is your proof, they will ask your reason for visiting and how long your staying, if there is any questions tell them or show them you have your return ticket and intend to return home at the pre-arranged date on your ticket, you are allowed as a British Citizen to remain here on your visitor permit for 90 days before a renewal is nessessary, and if you were to want to stay and work, well that is another basket full of kippers, I had 2 young ladies work for me in Alberta from the U.K and that is what they did.

  3. no. yes u have to tell them where ur from and u have to show them an id and ur birth certificate i think
