Im from the us but it says im from the uk or ireland how can i fix this?

Move to the Uk then no need to fix it.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click United States.You have to keep checking when you go to different categories.

Go to http://www.yahoo.com/ then click on answers on the left of the page.  It's not your settings, its what yahoo page you're on, just like you could go on to http://www.yahoo.fr/ for french yahoo!
