for the theme, im thinking of doing an anime party, a skater party, a surfing party (but i don't live near or by the beach)... and im not really sure how many people i should invite and the cost of it.

like a debutante ball? or whatever? or just a big bash for your birthday. all the girls i've known have spent up to 20 grand on their debuts. they'd rent out banquet halls, hotels, or yachts and have like 150-200 guests (most of them I'm sure they don't even know) and VERY formal.

pick a theme that you think that everyone invited would enjoy.
