It's a fine device... You will like it a lot... Make sure you get the sd card, then you can download music and make your own ringtones... Stay away from Windows Mobile... Not as stable as the Palm.

NO, Palm phones are garbage.  I have been selling cellphones for a while now.  I absolutely hate Palm phones.  Everyone of them, from the Treo 600 up to the Centro, have all had a ton of issues.  They will restart for no reason.  Even while you are on a call.  I have had customers tell me how their Palm phones have not only frozen on them, but while they were syncing them with their PC they would also freeze up their PCs.  [Sounds like a quality phone to me (insert sarcasm)]I have had several (not 1 or 2, but hundreds) of complaints about the Palm phones.  Sure, they sound nice and have a list of great features.  But think about it, why are they so cheap.  Just like the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for."  My advice, stay away from the Centro.  Get a better phone that will have the same or better features that will work for you.  If you still get the Centro, don't say I didn't warn you.

....I have the Palm Centro (AT&T) and I love it!! The web browser is Great!!! much better than the Blackberry Pearl's web browser!..The typing takes some getting used too (an hour tops) but it's still better than the Pearl's

...The Palm interface is very user-friendly and much easier for texting,email, and web browsing than the Pearl.

The Centro has a touchscreen too which is really cool!!

The Palm Centro is an EXCELLENT phone,( Soooo easy to use,ENORMOUS amount of features, Google maps, Telenav, and so much more... it's just great all around) You will have so much fun with it, figuring out all the cool things you can do! ....I HIGHLY recommend the PALM CENTRO over the Blackberry Pearl

Yup but get the Palm 500 unlocked its the centro but its unlocked and you can have it on any gsm carrier and it has windows mobile six instead of the palm software and windows mobile is much better.
