Im getting a 7.2 MP camera how many pics can i take with a 4 GB memory card?

what about with a 2 MP card?

and what about an 8.2 MP camera?(its kodak)

Well we need model numbers to know for sure.

The only way to know is to look at the cameras specs and see if it uses SDHC memory cards ... if it does, it will use the 4GB cards.

Pixel counts don't have much to do with anything ... and there are no 2MP cards ... 2GB cards yes.

Depending on your camera's individual compression settings (each camera is a little different), you should be able to fit:

with 7.2 MP, about...

700 photos at fine quality on 4GB

1400 photos at normal quality on 4GB

350 fine 2GB

700 normal 2GB

with 8.2 MP, about...

600 photos at fine quality on 4GB

1200 photos at normal quality on 4GB

300 fine 2GB

600 normal 2GB
