Im getting a bird, so what kind should i get?

Question

I've done all of my research, and I still can't decide. I want a small bird, that doesnt make that much noise. if it does make some noice,please tell me if its loud enough to where you can still hear it with the roomdoor shut. I also dont want a bird that lives past 5 years, perferably less. ( this is my first bird and If i dont like having a bird, I dont one that i have to be stuck with for 20 years, with me hating its guts.) If you have had a bird that fits the description please tell me what kind you had, and wether you liked it or not, if you didnt like it, please tell me why. Also do birds stink?? And please tell me how much the birst costs. THANKYOU SO MUCH!!

love birds they live to be 5 and are very sweet at times i loved them as pets and yes they do make a mess but not all the time they are loud but not so loud that you can hear it through a closed door

As the dude below me, you should get a canary! Their really really friendly and I LOVEE the yellow colored canary's. Mine was 6.00$ and on the internet you can get them for 5.00$

They do stink (not the bird, the cage) if you don't clean the cage every so often. My canary didn't really make alot of noise because it got used to my family and it's surroundings. The bird can live up to 6 years but mine lived only 4 1/2 because it got sick :(

Wat happens if you fall in live with the bird?

Then its going to die quicker, you should get a bird that lives long so id doesnt die quicker, its upsetting for a pet to die and it doesnt matter if you hate the pet, it matters if you take care of it, and if you dont take care of it, it will of course DIE!!!!!!!!!!!! :(   :(   :(
