Im getting a few cows, is it possible that I can ride the cows?

I am getting some cows soon and I would like to train them to be able to ride them like a horse, is this possible at all? Will the cows buck? Is there an age that I should start or can I just go right into it? Please help!

yes you can just tack your time just like braking a horse but you will not need a saddle

i recall my old history teacher talking about how uncomfortable she found it to ride a cow, and how very boney their backs are.

It's definately possible to ride a cow. Dont' try to ride calves that are only a few weeks old though, you could seriously hurt them. I just got done watching a video of a girl riding a cow with a saddle on youtube.

as long as you are not too heavy. but dont expect them to run and perform like horses. its only good for slow stroll. well... we can ride together *winks*
