Im getting a new camera and i just wanted some feed bck on 2 cameras im stuck between?

Well, neither are camcorders...

The 450 is the more recent model with an extra 2 megapixels and live view.   The 400 has 10 MP and no live view, but will be found for up to half the price just now: a lot of camera for the money!

There haven't been any in-depth reviews of the 450 yet, next weeks amateur photographer promises one, so hold of until after then at least.

The advice I would give in either case is to buy the body only, the supplied lens lets the camera down.
