  1. id go with bermese python its so cool when its big just keep feeding it about 1 every week until it gets about 7 feet

o ya and mine is 9 feet

  2. Without knowing how much experience you have, it's hard to answer this one. Both Burmese pythons and reticulated pythons grow very large very quickly and require large enclosures and rabbits. They can easily kill an inexperienced keeper. Carpet pythons and boas are much easier to handle. I own several carpets, Burms, and boas, and have owned retics, and personally, my favoriet are Burms, but they are all great snakes. If the largest snake you have ever owned is a ball python or corn snake, go with the carpet or boa.

  3. If you are asking this question here you should get a corn snake. You are not ready for a Carpet or Boa, and you are definitely not ready for a snake that is going to be 12 to15 feet in 3 years like a Burm or a Retic.

  4. I'd go with a Burmese or a Reticulated. Those both grow to be some amazing snakes.

Before buying just check what is legal in your area. You don't want to get a snake that's illegal with the chance of being caught. I only suggest this because Burmese are illegal where I live (NYC)

  5. You have gotten some good advice already..It all depends on your experience. If you are a beginner start with a ball python or even perhaps a red tail boa. Burms get really large and it takes experience and commitment. I own a retic who is 14 ft and about 6 years old. Retics have a reputation of being somewhat aggressive and very large. I hate to see these  snakes given up when people realize how large they get..Mine is a rescue who bit his previous inexperienced owner..Do your research and check the laws in your state as some are much more strict to protect the animals from unscrupulous people. Good luck!!

  6. Well if you never own a snake...try to start out slow. Maybe a ball python or a corn snake. They are easier to care for and don't need such a large cage. Do research on them first.

If this is going to be your next snake, then I would recommend a red tail boa. They are usually docile...at least more docile then te burmese, carpet, or reticulated.

Burmese and retics needs actual ROOMS not tanks. So if you think your ready to have a rather large snake(up to 18 feet) and willing to give up an actual room for it then be my guest. But I don't think you should get them unless you are fully experience with snakes. To tell you the truth, I have been dealing with snakes for a while and own a lot of them but I don't think I can deal with a retic.  Below is some info about them...though I don't recommend owning them just yet.

And a carpet python can be aggressive if not taken care correctly. I don't know to much about them only the fact that they are very pretty but not recommended for beginner.

Hope this could help a little bit...sorry if it can't =[
