im getting a small blood thes it it diffrent than a regular one do the make it a smaller needle less painfull

  1. I think maybe you might be having a blood test where they may not need as much blood as for another test.

    The needle won't vary much in size according to how much blood they need but as the person before me mentioned, ask them for a butterfly needle, these are used for children or for very small veins. Really, you shouldn't feel much pain if the person does the job correctly but putting it into perspective, if it does sting a little, it is over within a couple of seconds. :))


  2. Ok I don't really get your question, pretty confusing!!! I think what you're asking is if there's a difference between the needle size when you have to have a blood test and what's less painful. When you go to have your blood drawn, ask them to use a butterfly needle. It's what they use on little kids and babies. It's a smaller needle, but it may take them a little longer to get the sample that they need. I hope that's the question you were asking. Good Luck!

  3. Relax, its not that big a deal. If you aren't tense it really doesn't hurt.And it only takes a couple seconds.
