Im getting at tattoo and was wondering about colours?

Question

i am getting a tattoo done on tuesday, i know what i want, but other people are trying to put me off by sayin that it will look bad.

below is the tattoo i want, but the rose is to be black

how old r u? i dont like it it looks like the tatoos biker chics n the 80's got. roses r played out. get sumthin more modern.

meh, tell those people to get their own d**n tattoos, and leave what your gonna put on your body to you! I think those types of roses look really good black. My fiancee has one very similar to that, and it's black with yellow highlights and looks fantastic. I say go for it! There's nothing wrong with black roses. (especially if your a fan of Tiger Army) as long as you have a good artist that can make it flow right. :) I say go for it!

just to let you know,,

if you get colour on the tattoo, it'll fade when your old and it wont be as quite as attractive as when you first get it..

I like rose tattoos. I know people say they're overdone or outdated, but I think they can be really beautiful. And I certainly prefer them to stars and butterflies. I like roses best when they're the classic red, but that's just me. As long as you like it and think you won't regret it when you're 90, go ahead.

i wouldn't get it at all! in a few years you're going to hate it. and expecially when you're old. you get all wrinkley and you can't tel what the heck it is. tattoos are a terrible thing, but that's just my opinion. and as for the tattoo itself... if you're going to get a tattoo, make sure it doesn't look like a five year old did it. choose another one.

There is a lot of traditional black rose flash out there already. It's easy to do, and was very popular a couple of decades ago. You shouldn't have any problem getting exactly what you want.

Tattoos are a fashion craze at the moment. You will look ridiculous when you are an older woman ALL tattoo's fade to that horrible blue grey no matter what the colour they start with.

If you want it black then stick to your guns, after all it is you that will have it for the rest of your life and not your mates.  

Nice rose by the way.  I think it would look good dark purple/black but then thats my own opinion.
