Honestly, its best to get it over with as soon as possible. The days of people wearing braces being attributed to "being a nerd" are long gone. Almost everyone has or has had braces at one point, just go with it, and you'll be very happy with the end result.

I just got braces and I looooooooove them, all the different colors you can choose from, they didn't hurt at all, although I must admit it, getting a neew wire does make your teeth a litlle sore, but if you follow the directions the doctor gives you, youll be fine. Good luck and smile on!
