Im getting braces this friday!?!?!?!

On the 8th of August im getting my braces at 8 o'clock in the morning and in the afternoon i have to go to my school registration and while im doing that, i have to get my school ID taken.....my question is will i be able to smile without me looking like im in pain and how i would normally smile, and would my cheeks look like if their swollen? What would be the best way to smile?

You will be able to smile. Its not very painful the first month, but get lots of yogurt...i had braces for 3 1/2 years..trust me

Don't worry you'll look beautiful. I had them all through H.S. and I'd get my rubberbands changed all of the time so that I always had some wierd color scheme going on. You're mouth won't be swollen and one picture won't ruin your life especially since you'll be seen with them everyday of the school year.
