  1. It doesn't hurt at all when they put the braces on. But after a couple hours, maybe overnight, it will be brutal pain, well for me it did. You can eat normal foods the first few hours, because they probably won't hurt, but after that if you do feel pain, you should eat:

1.soft foods (bananas, pudding, ice cream, jello, etc..)

    2. Smoothies because they're filling and delicious haha.

Light blue is a great color. That's the color I have right now, it makes your braces not stick out, it blends in better.

  2. it doesnt hurt at all i promise when i had my braces on i didnt feel anything. you will mostly feel pressure. i would eat soup or really soft foods for the first couple of days just so you could get used to it and so ur braces dont break. the blue is okay

  3. The pain of getting the braces was minimal...but that night it might be difficult to eat. I would say probably 4-5. When I had my braces first put on I had pain biting down so I ate mostly soft foods. I would just be prepared for that. Mashed potatoes were so good. Light blue is a really good color... When I had them I would match my schools colors and holidays, things like that. You might experience some pain.... but you can handle it.

Wax is going to be your best friend for the next couple of weeks.

    Good Luck.

  4. well getting braces put on is not painful but afterwards it is different for everyone  for me it was like an 8 and it hurts like for 2 weeks for one of my frends it was nothing and another one could not fall asleep and had to take sleeping pills so he did not feel the poain and sry im not trying to scare u he is just a wuss dont eat anything hard dont chew just stik to yogurt  mashed potatoes and cut things up alot when u drink dont touch the glass with ure teeth light blue would be a fine color but im just warning you the color changes lol to a lighter shade from brushing ure teeth eating etc. take advil by the way my pain factor was high because i got my top braces done and then they put rubber bands between my molars and that hurt so im rly trying to think how badmy top hurt dont be nervous i almost peed myself its painful but thinking about it is worse than actually u no getting them so good luck i hope u dont go through alot of pain and i hope i helped

  5. First of all, good luck tomorrow! Let's start with the pain or discomfort. Since the brackets and wires are going to be putting pressure on your teeth, the discomfort will be moderate. Maybe take some Advil or something like that before you go. You'll be able to eat as soon as you're done, but be careful of hard, crunchy foods like pizza crust, ice, nuts or chips; chewy, sticky things like taffy, skittles and bubble gum. The first few days you may want soft foods like pasta, but you can eat anything (safe) that you can tolerate! Lastly, light blue would be great, but you should be able to change your colors each time you go to an appointment.

Enjoy your braces and keep them clean and healthy! You'll be glad you did!

  6. The pain on the scale of 1 to 10 is max 2. You cannot take hard and sticky food. The color light blue looks good but the choice is yours.

  7. 1. 2 maybe 3.

    2. thigns you cant eat: gum, gummy, caramel, anything chewy, they say not to eat popcorn idk why though i do anyways.

    3. the first few days they will be annoying. They will probly cut your lip alot when you get use to them. They will hurt REALLY REALLY bad if hit in mouth , like so bd it would bring a wrestler to his knees crying so if you play spots where a mouth gaurd of some sort.

    4. They usually change the color everytime you go see your orthodontist. I change them witht he season and holidays. right now mine are like a neon green color. Very summery ^.^

  8. The pain is not that bad maybe a 3, but it feels sore for a few days after they are tightened

You can't eat popcorn or sticky things and you need to cut up foods like apples and corn on the cob before you eat it.

A light blue sounds good, its not a crazy color that will draw attention to it.

The only advice I have is to take some Tylenol before going for tightening, wear your rubber bands because it'll help get them off earlier, and make sure to wear your retainer or its not worth it afterward

    Good Luck!!

  9. When I got mine they didnt hurt at all exept for the thing that they put in to hold your tounge back.  keep them brushed and dont use whiting toothpaste because after you get them off they would stain your teeth where the braces were:( Light blue would  probably be a great color i think that you can mix them to if you want 2

                                          Hope It Helps

  10. It does not hurt at all to get your braces put on. The only pain you might experience is that after having them for a couple of hours, your mouth may feel sore from the braces rubbing on them while you talk. So, make sure you get some wax from the orthodontist to put over the braces in case it's rubbing too much.  After getting your braces tightened, your teeth will be really sore from moving ( so it may be a good idea to take advil/tylenol 20 minutes before your appointments to get them tightened).

They will tell you to stay away from stick foods such as gum, starburst, milk duds, etc. (I ate them while I had braces and never had a problem though)...You may want to stay away from bread while you're still getting used to your braces, it's really hard to get out and looks really bad when it's stuck in there! After you get used to them, it shouldn't be a problem though.

Light blue is a good color choice. I would stay way from black (it makes your teeth look dirty), yellow (it makes your teeth look yellowish, of course), and white (because it just looks funny next to your white teeth, making them not look as white as the rubber bands).

    Hope this helps!

  11. it doesnt hurt at all! you cant even feel it. pretty much anything when your not wearing your retainer. ya sure, you cant really see it so it would be fine. keep your retainer clean (and safe)!! congrats!!!

  12. The orthodontist will most likely answer all your questions. Or you can ask your orthodontist
