Im getting braces tomorrow!?

im getting braces tomorrow, and i heard they really hurt after they get put on. i was just wondering how long does it take for them to hurt? cause im hanging out with some friends righ afterwards so i just want to know when to be prepared. also is choosing pink and green a bad choice?

I am not sure about the pain, because I am getting braces on October 14, so I don't know about the pain after braces. My friend said it hurt, mostly her cheeks, so put wax on the parts that poke your cheek. I am getting lime green and pink too!!! I think it's a great color... but if you don't want them to stand out I would get silver, or a lighter color. Good luck and have fun :)
