  1. I know a lot of people will prob say this too, but honestly, whatever color you want! If you dream of wearing a white dress, do it. If you look fabulous in red, wear that. If your fiance just looooves when you're in a little black dress, do it. It's totally up to you. Anything goes these days- no matter your age, number of children, or if you've been living together. You're getting married, and you should feel beautiful. :)

  2. if u are mem wear black suit and if u are womem wear white fork and happy wedding

  3. i say beige... maybe..

Although i think also the dress on the link provided is beautiful also.. gives you an idea.

  4. white you havent been married before so go for it  good luck

  5. WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What a silly question.

    Good luck!

  6. Beige or off white or cream . . definitely not white.   A softer color or shade will always look more flattering than white.

    Here's some advice from a wedding professional . .

Your gown should be simple, an A-line dress is flattering to all figures.  No puffy sleeves . . no high neckline . . no bustle or frilly train.

Keep the decorations or ornamentation on your gown to a minimum.  If you want sparkle, add silver or rhinestone jewelry (buy some jewelry that can be worn again with a cocktail dress).

A tea length or ankle length or floor length gown will always look nicer and be easier to wear than a gown with a train.  If you buy a gown that is shorter in length then I suggest buying a pair of shoes that sparkle also.

A lady who has had two children should NOT wear a veil in front of her face but it is appropriate to wear a veil on the top of her head or at the back of her head.

Keep your bouquet simple . . there is no need to carry a big, bulky heavy bouquet.  You'll end up hating it by the end of the day.  A few roses or daisies looks classier than a boquet with four dozen roses in it.

And the Groom should wear a classic black tuxedo, it doesn't get any better!  It's your wedding day, and both of you should look GREAT.

  7. Whatever you feel most beautiful in...it's your wedding and you can do whatever you want.  There's no hard and fast rule on what you can wear so go with what you feel best in!

  8. i would say white....why not you are still a bride.if you dont feel 100% with that then try a cream, offwhite or beige.

  9. Wear whatever color you want!  Some wear white or ivory, some pastel blue or lavender or pink.....are you buying an actual gown, or just a beautiful dress?  Buy something that looks pretty on you, and that you like...have a wonderful day!

  10. Any colour you feel great in!

  11. You can wear any color. If you're traditional, you can wear white or ivory. A beautiful color for the fall might be a rich burgundy or wine if you aren't stuck on a traditional white gown (Miranda on "s*x and the City" wore a gorgeous burgundy outfit :) ). It really depends on what you are comfortable with, what looks good on you, and your vision for the day.

Don't let people tell you that you can't wear white because you have children. White gowns were never a symbol of virginity, but of wealth - Queen Victoria wore a white gown for her wedding and kicked off the trend. Before that, people just wore their best clothes, in whatever color they happened to be!

  12. White, girl!!  Find a dress that looks smashing, put it on, and enjoy your day!

  13. First of all, congratulations! Wonderful that your children will be part of it too.

You could really go with any colour you think suits you. Try all the colours you like and try bringing a couple of people whose opinions you trust will help you make up your mind.

    My opinion is:

white + outdoor wedding + fall weather = not the best colour for fall and the great outdoors' dirt shows up easily on white.

Princess Mary of Denmark had a great autumn/winter weather wedding dress. Click on the link:

  14. Your fav color....

I married for the second time at age 53...I picked an outfit the color of my husband's birthstone....garnet. I looked d@mn good in it, too....

Who says the bride can't wear red.....I did....funny, except for my Mom, all the guests wore black...what was with that???? hahahaha....easy to tell who the bride was...good luck.

  15. you could pull off a lavender or maybe a peachy color...or if your really just want to go for it than do white...whatever you want! it's your big day and you should do whatever you want! make it the best day of your life! good luck with your marrage!

  16. For brides, I just love white. I guess Im traditional. But you dont have to do a big frilly dress, if its not your style. Check out some of the "destination" bridal wear, some are very simple, understated, mature, and elegant.

  17. Whatever colour you chose, think about what would be your ideal colour and dont be persuaded that because you are a mum or a certain age you cant wear white.

Go for whatever colour you want and good luck. Its your day so dont dress to suit other people, just be yourself and you will look stunning.

p.s. I am over 40 and I am wearing the most beautiful white wedding dress next June.
