  1. How many guests are attending this pre-wedding party?  Will they also be going to your actual wedding ceremony?  If you don't feel comfortable wearing what you bought, you need to exchange or return it for something you do like.  This is YOUR time, YOUR day, so you need to do what makes you happy.  Wear what you want.  Maybe you should try on the dresses you already have in front of one of your friends or bridesmaids (or even your fiance, he can see other dresses just not your wedding dress), get their opinions.  Try not to spend any more money if you really don't have to (it seems like you've already spent enough!), but if you're not happy, do what will make you happy.  You don't want to look back on this in years to come regretting what you wore.  Good luck and congrats!

  2. You did not state if the first ceremony (party for you) is formal or what type of ceremony you have planned.  It's your day and you should have what you want. So my opinion is that if your already having second thoughts on the dress than you need to take it back and exchange it for something that you do like.  There's lots of factors that in tail what type of dress that you should wear, I believe that you should take that into consideration. Like formal or not, inside or outside, day or evening.  Congratulations! and Good Luck!
