Im getting my first snowboard, i got the board, boots, stomp pad and bindings. what else do i need??

Must have: leash, goggles or glasses, hat or helmet, sun screen, and really good gloves with a high "gauntlet" with pulls up over your jacket to keep the snow out (North Face, Burton, Dakine, etc)

Clothing: long underwear, snow pants, and jacket - get the good stuff if you can afford it (North Face, Burton, even Columbia is OK) but make SURE that you don't wear cotton underwear or socks - they stay wet and you will be miserable.

You don't really need a stomp pad... and depending on which resort you go to, you probably won't need a leash. The only other things you need are a waterproof jacket and pants. If you want it to be decently comfortable, try to get them at a waterproof rating & breathability at 5000m at least or higher. Doesn't really matter on the brand, just get whatever feels most comfortable to you.

Try getting a pair of goggles that dont fog up.. sunglasses will work but there is a small chance of them getting a little scratched and fogged up, and they could fall off...

Most mountains consider leashes (they link from one of your feet/leg to one of your bindings) this is to stop run away boards... so if your bindings come loose...

Other than that i think you should be good for the main snowboarding stuff...

Accesories:

Possibly try and buy a lock to lock up your snowboard if you go to mountains... they should have racks and stuff to set your snowboard on, a lock should be good to lock up the board if they have lodges to warm up and eat...(There are some little theifs out there looking for any good snowboards they can get their hand on)   =P

Also make sure you got good winter clothes on when going snowboarding...
