Im getting my permit wednesday and i need to know something. 10 points best answer?

okay, im 18, im in pennsylvania, after i take the written test, how long do I have to wait to take the driving test? some tell me 2 weeks, some tell me 1, help!

*scratches head* ... if your 18 I doubt you have to wait for anything, or atleast thats what I've known from all the states I've been in.  Unless of course you are getting your permit and need to drive with someone, then there MAY be a waiting period... but again, your 18 so I doubt you even NEED to get a permit.

When you are 18 you do not have to wait. But I highly suggest taking the 6 hour behind the wheel training if you haven't already.

The state of Pennsylvania doesn't require you to wait at all if you don't want to. However, some areas don't always offer the driving part of the test the same day, so they may make you wait until the next available time to take it. It all depends on where you are taking it and how they schedule it.

I also live in PA and I got my license in 2003 but I was 17 so I had to wait like 6 months.

Because you're 18 you will not have to wait after you have passed the written test.

You might need to make an appointment, though. and practice, practice practice on that parallell parking - hint tho - they give you 3 tries!

according to pa dmv you will not have to wait for a driving test. If you pass the written test you can then take the driving part. Not required to have the 50 hours of training

Steph by being 18 years old ,you just became a young adult,You should be able to take the writing test and turn around to the officer and say i would like to take my driving test as soon as you can arange it.The only waiting you should have to do is waiting on the officer to give you the test.
