Im getting one alpine type R and another later what would be the best 2 channel amp?

Well I Have An Alpine MRP 500m,  Pushing 2 1000w 15's And Its Crazy. I Have All The Bass Down On The CD Player And It Still Shakes My Truck

A mono amp would be better.

One that's 1000 watts RMS @ 1 ohm.

Like sparky said mono is the way to go for subs.

I would stay away from Hifonics I would say they are garbage.

If you'd like, for two type r's being 500RMS each try the alpine MRPM1000 its 1000RMS @ 2-ohm.

Or the alpine pdx1.1000 which is 1000RMS @ 2 and 4-ohm.

Your voice coils of your subs could change the impedance possibilities.

for your 2 type R's i recommend and Alpine 1507 amp but hard to find or an alpine V12 amp both class d mono blocks. 1507 costs about 500 if you can find one and the V12 about 150 to 250 depends on the condition.
