Im getting two birds i had one and a cage ?

i had one bird and i still had the cage i want 2 birds and i dont want them to fight and wat do i do

Well there's not much you can do other than just hope they will like each other. You can also make sure when your about to get two birds, make sure there together that way, you know for sure they won't fight.

If they are the same kind of bird it should be fine just dont put two girls in a cage most of the time they will fight and sometimes kill each other but two boys are fine and a boy and a girl is fine as well

You should STILL get a separate cage. The "new" bird needs a place all his own until the "old" bird gets used to the new one. I have three caiques and did NOT get them all at the same time. As each new one came in, I had a sanctuary cage for them to stay in until they decided it was time to move into the "big" cage -- and I did let them make that choice. I never forced any of my birds to share a cage with a hostile cage mate.

Now they all live together in one big cage -- my bedroom.
