1. I went with a group of people from my school as well. It was a lot of fun. Try to take everything in as much as you can. There is so much beauty and history. I learned so much while I was there! See as much as you can and try to learn as much Spanish as possible, it will help you get around better. Happy traveling!

  2. Bring warm clothes layers. It will probably be warm in the daytime, but chilly at night. Actually, I was in Madrid in March once, and it snowed, so, be prepared for it. It was

GREAT!!!! You will have a BLAST!!!

Actually, I think of those little one-week tours as nothing but an appetizer...what you really want to do is go during College, for a full year, and REALLY get the full meal.

*edit* just read the others....Flemish really missed the boat in Toledo!!!! There's a huge Gothic Cathedral there, with some very famous artwork, including an El Greco. Greco lived in Toledo...his house and museum, and the Church of Santo Tomé, where the Burial of the Conde de Orgaz is. Also, city walls and gates that nearly surround the city...well, complete up to the river, which surrounds three sides of the city...REALLY spectacular! Don´t discount it.

  3. Been to all of those places, lived in Madrid for 11 months and now live in Valencia. Spain is excellent.

Other people will tell you about all the sights to see, as will your guide on your school trip and you will see them for youself come February, so I won't bother.

I will advise you to pack winter clothes. Madrid and Toledo will be especially cold. Coat, scarf, gloves, hat, boots - the works. Because Spain is such a popular summer holiday spot, people assume that it is always hot, trust me it isn't! Expect day temps around 5 celcius and night below 0.

  4. Yes, its fine. But if you want to know more information of Spain, then you can visit from site www.a1spainhotels.com. I hope it willbe helpfull for you.

  5. Madrid is beautiful, you can go there and do nothing for two weeks, or visiting every day museums, or just go out every night.

Toledo is a nice small old village, a good hour bus drive from Madrid, it has a castle and that's it. When i was there 3 months ago it was closed because of repair works.

In Toledo you have also a beautiful opportunity to kill yourself jumping from a cliff.
