  3. Most camps will send you a checklist with guidelines of what to pack.  If they didn't, call them and ask some questions.

The important things to consider are:

How many days will you be there?

Are there washing facilities available?  If so, what is the cost, will you have to provide your own supplies (detergent), and will you have time to fool with it?

How many different outfits will you need for each day? (various activities, how dirty will you get, special dress-up occasions, etc.)

Do you provide your own towels & linens or not?

What is the weather like? Will you need a jacket, closed-toe shoes for hiking, swimwear, rain boots, etc?

Is there any sort of dress code?

What additional personal items will you need (or are recommended), such as umbrella, flashlight, toiletries, etc.?

What items are considered contraband? (cell phone, etc.)

If you know anyone else going, that's often the best way to get the real scoop on what's appropriate.
