Im going for basic training in October and later for Iraq what should i expect from basic training

You may not go to Iraq but.. from basic. . . expect it to be the hardest mental and physical test you will ever have in your entire life.

Alot of working out, a c**p load of running .. push ups.. pulls ups.. obstacle courses.. MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) marching, cleaning (in very specific ways.. such as scrubbing the floors not kneeling but squating and "walking" like a duck lol) You're going to be Intensly trained, after all the Marine Boot camp is the hardest and longest. You will have to complete the Crucible at the end of bootcamp, google it. Its insanly hard. You'll have to do water training. You'll do Infantry training after boot camp in SOI(School Of Infantry).

Be prepared to get yelled at ALOT. But just think of it as a game and you'll get through it just fine. Dont be the one to s***w up otherwise the other recruits will hate you and make you life a living h**l.. If one guys messes up .. the whole group gets punished. You'll have to wear everything in a very specific way, your bed will be made perfectly, four inch folds and what not.. The movie Full Metal Jacket is actually a good movie to watch to understand it. I dont care what ppl tell you but YES you still get hit in boot camp. Just not in the face. Ive been around to many marines for to long that have told me the horror stories of it to believe otherwise.

Push yourself and you'll be great. Like I said, just think of it as a game and you'll be "good to go" :)

Hi there,

I've been a Marine for 50 years. In your basic training, you will worship the corporations and the rich elite that runs the USA, you will learn to waterboard innocent suspects, beat up people who have their hands tied behind their backs, kill fluffy white rabbits and rape little children.

You will also be required to cater for your commanding officers like me. You will have the pleasure to massage me regularly, cook my meals and prepare my bath. My car needs a wash and the house a new painting. Thank you for your service! Nothing beats a good servant in my book. We have enough free-minded liberals who want human rights for all and all those disgusting things.

You might not go to Iraq, you might go alot of other places.

Lots of workout? kind of a stupid question. You get yelled at and have to keep your uniform perfect for a few weeks. (13).
