I wouldn't risk it.  If for some silly reason you get caught with the tobacco you'll get in trouble with your school.  What kind of predicament would you put your mother in then?  Bring your Mum back some chocolate instead.

*** Also - to any American that doesn't happen to know - English say "f**s" are "cigarettes".  It only means "homosexual" in the US but the word has a dual meaning in the UK.  This is obviously an English school boy on a field trip to France and he is asking a perfectly innocent question about bringing his mother back tobacco products - not a drag queen!

You won't be allowed to buy cigarettes or alcohol as you are underage. Try chocolate, perfume, or just a funny gift.
