  1. I'm going to be a high school freshmen (9th grade) and I am kind in the same situation as you but my arm isn't broken. My last school was really bad to and they didn't teach us any thing important so I am have a Tudor this summer to help me get caught up, don't worry about not understanding math, the school will look at your academic level and place you in the math class were your level is at. Also I don't think many people will care that your arm is broken, the kids there will look more at personality and grooming and it would be stupid if they were mean to you over something you can't control,

    good luck!

  2. Who cares if your "'smartness' is kind of low?"  You're going to school to fix that, right?  Who cares if you're going to school with a broken arm.  Actually, the girls might dig it!  I got bullied a lot by "jocks" when I was your age because I was a soccer player in a football school.  I studied hard, played soccer hard, became really smart and then didn't help them with their homework.  I'm 41 now and I'll bet a couple of them are still trying to graduate (lol)!

It's a thing called life and you're just getting started.  There will always be bullies and people smarter than you. Believe it or not, there are people out there that are smarter than I am.  Just do your best at everything, study hard, get smart and be yourself.  If you really want to freak out the bullies take up a sport they can't understand like soccer, chess or Texas Hold 'Em.

Forget your fears and walk into the light of adulthood.  It'll get a lot better later!  The main thing is to forget your fears.  You'll do fine, even if you have some catching up to do!

  3. It is a great time to make new friends. No worry about the broke arm. That broken arm will heal soon. Your school will be the way you make it. Do not hang around with people who bully you. Bullies are really afraid of themselves. Just be your self and it is time to make new friends. No need to be afraid of the seventh (7th) grade. All students are afraid of new school or classes. Hope this helps out.

  4. Don't worry about your arm, its nothing to be embarrassed about.

most schools offer free tutoring, so look into that for you math, or maybe you can even ask your parents to get you a private math tutor.

Just don't let your insecurities make you extra shy and quiet, be open to meeting new people. People always make high school sound worse than it really is.

    The best of luck!
