Im going on a 7 hour plane ride by myself for the first time (im 15) what should i bring in my carry on?

Things that will keep my entertained while i go from N.Y.C to L.A to visit my family there. Im going by myself cause my dad and step-mom have to go to japan that week for business. Any ideas?

Books, your DS (or other game device) w/ headphones. a small blanket or jacket in case you get cold  (the airplane blankets are usually all taken)

There will be a movie in-flight.  There will likely be a snack or small meal.  Bring cash if it isn't complimentary - it should be though.
