  1. You can take non drowsy dramamine or if you tend to get really sick try talking to your Dr.  There is a new motion sickness patch that you can wear!

  2. Dramamine... the non-drowsy kind, it works very well & you can find it at walmart and most other places.

I am also going in a cruise in March, the 13th, can't wait!

  3. When you go on a cruise you can't even feel the boat moving!

  4. I have been on 2 cruises.  On my first I was very sick.  On my second (this past December) I went to my Doctor and he prescribed the patch that goes behind the ear.  WONDERFUL.  I got to enjoy the cruise.   Alot of people on the boat wore them.  They were not that expensive either.

  5. If you are concerned, you could take Gravol with you or purchase it on board.  I have never noticed enough movement to make me uncomfortable.

  6. The other non drug choice are sea bands which you wear on your wrists. Large pharmacy's have them as well as the cruise ship may have them. Princess cruises carries them on board their ships.

  7. If you have severe motion sickness you can actually get an antihistamine shot before the cruise

  8. Check with your pharmacist.

Used to be Benadryl, but might be something newer now.

    Bon Voyage

  9. They have a patch for motion sickness that goes behind your ear, but the pharmacist told me it makes you really sleepy and you arent supposed to drink on it, So I opted out of it and I was fine, besides who wants to be sober and sleepy on a cruise?!  You wont even feel it after the first night...actually after a day or two, flat land will feel weird!
