  1. I've been on a 29 day cruise with Princess from Australia to LA, and it was pure relaxation with lots of sea days and many islands to visit. We paid our bills and checked with things at home using the Internet cafe on board ship. That worked out beautiful. We did have to visit one time the doctor on board for a minor problem and they treated us just great, and even took us to the pharmacy(this was still in Australia). We did a lot of reading, too much eating(pace yourself), a lot of tours, etc. I always felt very secure, even in these little pacific islands. No problems at all.  Some day, we are thinking of doing a world cruise(120 days), but that is a few years away. Have a great time.

  2. you will have a great time

  3. Well, you don't say what ship or where you are going.  This does make a difference.  I have been on eight cruises with four different cruise lines.  I'm going on my ninth cruise in one week.  It will be a two week cruise through the Panama Canal.  I also have four more after that already booked.

At any rate, if you want to know everything, I can offer you links to the reviews I have written of my last four cruises.  They are rather long (the first one is about nineteen type written pages long).  However, the reviews do offer a day by day account of my life on a cruise ship ...

No, she is not a spoiled brat. I invited her to go on a cruise with me!

And even if i didnt, i still dont see how she would be a spoiled brat.

    you bug me.

And no.. we'd rather not take you thanks ;)

  5. You should be excited ,make sure you take a camera with plenty of memory or film, try to learn the in's and out's of cruises it may help you later, I believe you will want to do this again!!I was fortunate enough to see a lot of the world thanx to the U.S Navy and have never been sorry.

  6. Isn't a cruise lasting 76 days much like kidnapping?  You had better take some vitamins and a cell phone also.  Did you quit your job and everything to take the 76 day cruise?  Wow..I envy you.

  7. wow! thats a really long time. the thing is, ive been on a one week cruise in summer of 07 to alaska. i loved it! at first, i was worried i would drown and die. (exspecially since i watched the titaanic right before) then, the first day u get on the boat, they practice a drill where u get ur life jackets on. they will probaly do this several times for u, since its a 3 month cruise.

i loved it! they were all dedicated to service! they had fancy dinners, shore activites, a whole floor for shopping! then a sports deak and 2 pools. i will nnever forget it! any more questions, email me. but its an adventure i will never forget!

  8. Please just take me with you..

    Lucky you .... spoiled brat...

  9. Go to the library and check out some books about cruising.

Also, you can go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards" and/or "Reviews" and find out everything you need to know.  We can't possibly tell you "everything" here!!

A cruise is a wonderful vacation.  The food varies from line to line, so it depends on who you're sailing with.  There's good security on all the ships, but you still need to use the same "common sense" caution you'd use at home while on the ship and an "extra dose" of caution while in the ports.

Best piece of advice I'd offer is, if you're flying in from any distance, fly in the day before your cruise so you don't get caught up in delays that will cause you to miss the ship.  [This applies if you're making your own air arrangements, which you should almost always do.]

    Have fun!
