I read this thing and i have no idea what it means .

I understand the numbers .

But how to i know how much to eat :

• 60% Vegetables (preferably green) good examples are celery, cucumbers, broccoli, and bell peppers.

• 30% Protein Sources, good examples are Chicken breast, fish, lean red meat, eggs, turkey breast, and a good protein powder supplement.

• 5% Fruit and Nuts

• 5% Anything you might crave, and this is a must for this plan to work. It will help you mentally to get you through the plan.

  1. Yea, I see what you mean...that's hard to interpret into actual food amounts.  I also don't like that fruit is so low.  The page below is called "Eat Healthy" and it will explain the food groups from your question and the recommended portion sizes.  Also, there's a section on the site called Weight Loss Facts with links leading to several pages of facts.  I think it's the last one that has the amount of protein, etc. you need each day...good luck!

  2. It means that most of what you put into your mouth should be growing plant sources & make up the Bulk of your diet,

Proteins are meat fish eggs etc

looking at this is quite good eating plan all tho what you are missing is grain based ( ie breads cereals etc) which you also need in your diet.

  3. Don't focus so much on the eating part of it.Focus more on the exercise.
